Sport Expenditure
At Bedford Primary School, we recognise the importance of physical education, sport, and active lifestyles in supporting pupils’ health, wellbeing, and overall development. The PE and Sport Premium is additional government funding provided to primary schools to enhance the quality of PE, sport, and physical activity for all pupils.
We use this funding to improve the confidence and skills of staff, broaden the range of sporting opportunities available, and increase participation in physical activity both within and beyond the school day. Our aim is to ensure that all pupils develop a lifelong love of being active, alongside the skills and knowledge needed to lead healthy lives.
Our spending is carefully planned to have a sustainable impact, ensuring lasting improvements to our provision for future pupils.
