Bedford Community Primary School is a two form entry community school, for children aged between four and eleven years, on a day basis. The school was founded in 1885 and moved from the original site on Bedford Road to our new building on Quarry Road in 1992. We are proud to be an Extended School which means that we offer a variety of extra services so that children, families and the whole community can get the most out of our excellent facilities and resources. We share our site with Cambridge Children’s Centre.

At Bedford Primary, “EVERY CHILD MATTERS”. We instil a belief in every child that they can excel; demanding high standards and setting challenging goals to which children aspire. We nurture creativity, resilience and a drive to achieve.
